Arsenal legend Wright: Crazy Liverpool relying only on Torres
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has told Rafa Benitez he needs to find a partner for Fernando Torres if Liverpool are to win the Premiership.
In his column for The Sun, Wright argued: "A club needs at least two world-class strikers to win the Premier League title.
"Ideally, they should have three top-drawer players.
"Manchester United have Wayne Rooney, Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen.
"Chelsea boast Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka and Salomon Kalou.
"Though they are not as strong up front as United or Chelsea, Arsenal still have Robin van Persie, Eduardo and Nicklas Bendtner to call on.
"So I would like to know how on earth Rafa Benitez thinks he is going to crack the championship with just one top striker.
"Benitez has been unable to attract a top-class second striker like David Villa. He fought with the club's owners to have total control in the transfer market but has not addressed a blindingly obvious issue.
"Liverpool are no longer that far ahead of Manchester City, Aston Villa and Tottenham.
"Those teams will now see Benitez's side as both weak and beatable."
