I'm a gunners fan. Though Wright is right, the problems at anfield are the co-owners of the club who are mean and not ready to support Benitez. Gillet & Co need to wake up from their slumber before it is too late and support the coach materially. Benetiz is a good coach and need to be respected by fans and the owners of the club.
Clubs like Arsenal should think twice before they can allow an American to takeover the club. Let what is happening at anfield be a lesson to Arsenal bosses and AST. These guys will let Arsenal go the Liverpool way if this takeover is not checked.
Americans worldwide are very mean investors and purely capitalists and I think Stan Kraonke is planning to buy the club with a bank loan. This will surely be counterproductive in the long run. The club will be having huge debt as a result of such acquisition and Arsenal will struggle to pay off the loans. My opinion is to have a diverse shareholders but not one large shareholder(s) with over 50%. I think all other major shareholders should not sell to silent Stan. Usmanov, where are you? Can you also up your stake to 29.9%? Can you persuade Lady Nina to sell to you just 4.9%? This is the way to go because the board members have continued to favour Stan Kraonke.
The FSA should investigate the board over the sale of shares to only one shareholder who happens to be on the board. They guy has been having the uppper hand in all share deals. Other shareholders and new potentials like myself have been locked out by these board members.
