Fiorentina confident closing deal for Boca Juniors defender Munoz

Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino is wrapping up a deal for Boca Juniors defender Ezequiel Munoz.

Corvino was in Argentina last week and sources close to negotiations say only minor details need to be ironed out for Munoz to move to Fiorentina in January.

Interestingly, Fiorentina scouts have delivered reports to Corvino with 90% ratings across the board on Munoz.

For his part, the youngster insists he is unaware of Fiorentina's interest, but Florence sources are adamant a deal is close.
