Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez has called on Real Madrid to punish midfielder Guti.
Marquez is aware of Guti's flare-up with Real coach Manuel Pellegrini during their Copa del Rey thrashing by little Alcorcon.
"Any player who does not show respect to his boss should be fined or punished," declared Marquez when quizzed about the controversy.
Meanwhile, the defender revealed he was close to putting pen to paper on a new deal to 2012.
"For me there is no problem," he said. "There's only minor things, both sides have practically agreed."
