Ex-Man City fullback Mills slates Pearce management

Spot on David. Danny Mills has earnt no right to criticise anyone. Ok he had some injury but how many games did he play in his 5? year contract.
He kept his head down and took the money way after it was clear no one wanted him.
Stuart Pearce did a job with the money available at the time (very little) and is an honest guy how dare Mills criticize after his record.

Danny who?

I think that if you read the article its a pretty fair analysis of Keegan and Pearce. None of them were good managers and they never will be - for precisely the reasons that Mills suggests. Bang on in my view.

Sounds more personal than anything. Whatever you think of pearce as a player and manager he had principles and a direction towards quality. Could you say the same od Danny Mills? Anyway that all is thankfully along way under the bridge. Its great at middle eastlands!

Sounds like sour grapes to me. A poor player playing for a manager that didn't really have any funds at the time... and was learning his trade... and still is.

Did Danny Mills consider himself to be one of the bigger players because he barely turned up in a city shirt?

David James did ok for City but wont be remember for being great... did Stuey upset you Danny by getting rid of your friends...?

Thatcher is a thug & slow, Barton is a disruptive thug & mental, Reyna was way past his best & hardly a match winner & I rarely remember you playing out of your skin in any match! Considering you were getting paid for continually being injured is purely greed!

I have been a City season ticket holder most of my life & Danny Mills ranks as one of City's all time failures as a right back in my humble opinion. The only thing I remember of him was a 30 yards strike ... which I celebrated ... but saw nothing else from him duriong his whole city career... the rest of time he was no where .... running down the right with his head down only to be caught out of position time and time again.... poor player and good riddance.
