Dunne denies Villa lost their focus against Wolves
Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 10/26/2009 - 17:54
Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne has rubbished suggestions the Villans attitude is not sufficient when facing the supposedly lesser teams in the Premier League.
This follows their uninspiring draw with rivals Wolves at Molineux.
"We have to make sure every game we play is a big game for us," he said. "We have to put in the same amount of effort whoever we play.
"It's disappointing. We've beaten Chelsea and you think to make that victory worthwhile you have to come to places like this and win games - and we haven't been able to.
"Our performance was not great but we feel we are capable of playing any team and picking up point.
"People will say we're not up for it against teams like Wolves - well we are. It was just an off day."
