Arsenal hero Keown excited about title chances
Arsenal hero Martin Keown is excited about what he's seen from Arsene Wenger's team in recent weeks.
The former Gunners title winner is convinced they are a legitimate chance to lift the Premiership this season.
Keown told TalkSport: "I’ve not seen Arsenal play as well as they are currently for the last 18 months, they really are stepping it up. With the youngsters you get inconsistency, I think yesterday they went two goals up early on and then they took the foot off the gas and they really are going to have to be managed by Arsene Wenger to get them over the winning line because they are short of a little bit of experience on the pitch to do that for them. But there’s so much talent there that eventually surely they are going to win something.
“You can (afford to lose a few matches this season). I mean no one seems to be invincible.
"Chelsea away from home, they look like they are vulnerable, you saw again yesterday. Man City have re energized the Premiership again. They can go joint top if they win their games in hand. Arsenal can slid up alongside Manchester United. It is going to be probably the best Premiership in recent memory because we’ve now got extra teams in the mix who can make it happen for us.”
