Federici saves Reading from drubbing against West Brom
Submitted by Andrew Slevison on Sun, 10/18/2009 - 21:42
The performance of Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici has been praised by West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo.
The 24-year old Australian produced some brilliant saves to keep the Royals in the contest when scores were 1-1.
Although the Baggies managed to score two second-half goals to eventually win the clash 3-1, Di Matteo said Federici was the difference between the match getting ugly and remaining reasonable for the visiting Reading.
“I don't know what it is about The Hawthorns," Di Matteo told the Mirror.
"Keepers who come here seem to play the game of their lives. He made four unbelievable saves in the second half."
