Aberdeen striker Mackie refuses to be forced out
Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 10/11/2009 - 06:03
Darren Mackie will remain at Aberdeen despite a barrage of criticism over his performances.
The striker, still to score this season, has been dropped, booed by the fans and warned by Dons legend Joe Harper to move out because he isn't good enough.
Despite the criticism, the 27-year-old aims to prove he has a future at Pittodrie.
Mackie said: "All I can do is get my head down, work away and see what happens. Hopefully, I'll get back into the team sooner rather than later."
