Benitez: Liverpool defence was total disaster
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez branded his defence a "total disaster" in their Champions League defeat to Fiorentina.
The Sun says, speaking with French TV, Benitez rapped: "Our defence for Fiorentina's first goal was a total disaster.
"The Premier League and the Champions League are different competitions. The first is played on endurance and the other on direct elimination.
"Our squad is good enough but during the year there will be injuries we'll have to manage."
