Peterborough’s Ferguson eyeing Ipswich’s McAuley

Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson is keen on signing Ipswich Town defender Gareth McAuley.

The Posh boss is eyeing a loan deal for the 29-year old centre-half as the club attempts to pull themselves out of the Championship drop zone.

McAuley has struggled to nail down regular first team football with the Tractor Boys under Roy Keane and Ferguson is keen to get him to London Road.
