Marcelo is fighting for his future at Real Madrid.

Sport says the way Sevilla winger Jesus Navas tore apart the Brazilian on Sunday has Real management deeply concerned.

The stop-gap is former Liverpool fullback Alvaro Arbeloa, who was signed to play on the right.

With Royston Drenthe also on the outer, Real are expected to return to the market in January for a new left-sided fullback.
