West Ham and Zola in crisis talks

West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola has been brought in for crisis talks with club officials.

Chief executive Scott Duxbury called upon Zola straight after the 2-2 draw with Fulham at home on the weekend and is believed to be demanding answers after a poor start to the season.

Reports have suggested that the club is in crisis talks but the Hammers insisted that manager and chief regularly meet after matches to discuss various issues.

The Hammers are currently 19th on the table with just five points from seven matches and although it has been said Zola’s job is not in danger, if he cannot improve the record of one win, two draws and four losses swiftly, he may soon be looking elsewhere for employment.
