Marseille playmaker Valbuena warms to Atletico Madrid move

Olympique Marseille midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has confirmed summer interest from Atletico Madrid.

The playmaker is on the outer in l'OM coach Didier Deschamps' plans and is again being linked with a move away in January.

Valbuena revealed: "I just turned 25 and I have a lot of football in the legs. If things don't change, I'd like to go during the winter market.

"I heard through my agent that Atletico had been interested in me. Spain has always been a dream for me."
