Bayer Leverkusen's Hyypia proved right turning down Liverpool coaching offer

Sami Hyppia says his success at Bayer Leverkusen is proof he was right to reject a coaching offer at Liverpool.

The former Reds defender said: "It shows I was right to think I could still play at the highest level.

"I have not changed the way I play as I have got older. I have always played like Sami Hyypia, and I am still capable of doing my job every week."
