Rookie De Gea keeps Resino in Atletico Madrid job

David De Gea produced a stunning home debut for Atletico Madrid in their victory over Real Zaragoza.

The rookie goalkeeper managed to save a penalty to earn three points for Atletico and a stay of execution for coach Abel Resino.

De Gea said: "I debuted at the (Vicente) Calderon and I stopped a penalty, it's all been a dream for me.

"The win will allow us to live a quiet week. This victory gives us confidence and peace of mind and we can now move up the table."
