Italy coach Marcello Lippi says he won't be considering Roma captain Francesco Totti for selection.
“Totti has said more than once what his decision was and it must be respected,” Lippi explained before moving swiftly on to talk about Serie A top scorer Antonio Di Natale.
“I follow all the good players. Di Natale is a great talent. I am particularly pleased for him because I felt sorry when he was injured in the match in Montenegro with La Nazionale. As soon as he was better I recalled him immediately,” Lippi said.
