Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has highlighted the form of Paul Scholes this season.
While Ryan Giggs has been capturing all the attention recently, it has not escaped Ferguson's attention that former England midfielder Scholes is at the top of his game as well.
"Paul gave an incredible performance at Stoke," he said. "He made 78 passes in the game. Four were off target. That is phenomenal.
"Paul and Ryan are defying their age. They are playing with great confidence and maturity in their game.
"It is refreshing to see players retaining these qualities for such a long time."
