Man City boss Hughes happy after Johnson, Santa Cruz cameos

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes was delighted with the cameos of Michael Johnson and Roque Santa Cruz in their win over West Ham United.

He told City's website: “It was important for them to be able to get on against West Ham. I'm glad I had the chance to introduce them again, and for Roque it was his debut, so it was nice for him to get that out of the way.

“For Michael, it's been too long that he's been out of a City shirt so to see him out there was a boost for everybody.”
