Arsenal and Tottenham are planning £3 million offers for Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker.
The Daily Star says Reo-Coker, 25, is eyeing a return to the capital after an unhappy spell in the Midlands.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger wants to add experience to his midfield and is plotting a cut-price January move for the former Wimbledon and West Ham man.
Meanwhile, Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is also ready to renew his interest.
Redknapp asked about Reo-Coker’s availability in the summer but was put off by Villa’s hefty price tag, with O’Neill eager to recoup the £8.5m he paid to the Hammers in July 2007.
