Birmingham City chairman David Gold is confident the club is in good hands with Sammy Yu taking over the day-to-day running.
He said: “I must say I was very, very impressed with their football knowledge, they both seemed to be football people.
“When you meet people who are successful in business and want to come into football, you wonder to yourself what they are going to be like, will they be suitable?
“But these guys are extremely knowledgeable and they haven’t come here to see this club go down a division. On the contrary.”
