Derbyshire disappointed at missing Arsenal clash
Former Blackburn striker Matt Derbyshire has told skysports.com of his disappointment at missing Olympiakos' UEFA Champions League clash with Arsenal.
The former Rovers star has been ruled out of the trip to Emirates Stadium through injury in what would have been his first game back in England since his summer departure from Ewood Park.
"I am gutted, very gutted to miss the game," Derbyshire told skysports.com. "It is one of those things I am injured and I just have to deal with it.
"I am in Belgium seeing a specialist after my hernia operation and it is about restoring the core strength.
"The doctor is one of the best specialists in the world and things have gone brilliantly so far and I can feel a big improvement.
"I hope to be back in training in three or four weeks and I can't wait as it difficult for any footballer not to be playing."
