Notts County chief Trembling unhappy with Campbell claims over Benjani, Roberto Carlos

Notts County chief Peter Trembling says the club is unhappy with claims from Sol Campbell over promised signings.
As Sol Campbell walked out after just one game, citing broken promises about signing Benjani and Roberto Carlos, officials came out fighting.
Trembling said: "I've never talked about Benjani to anybody at all. Sven Goran Eriksson, I understand, did talk about Carlos but it never went beyond a conversation.
"I'm surprised by Sol's comments. Sven talks about players we might be looking at - but most are more aligned to League Two. Ade Akinbiyi will join us, subject to a medical. That's the only signing we've got in mind at the moment."
