Juventus chief Secco: Marchisio ideal Bianconeri prototype

Juventus chief Alessio Secco has highlighted Claudio Marchisio as the ideal 'prototype' of what management are trying to produce.

He said: "Marchisio is the prototype of our philosophy that began in 2006 when at Juventus, Jean-Claude Blanc said that the future would be based on a mix of excellent champions and great players equally, perhaps no longer in the academy.

"Marchisio is the proof that this is not an exercise of imagination, but it is reality."
