Cerezo again laments lack of Atletico Madrid playmaker signing

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has again blamed their poor season start to the failure of landing a midfield playmaker in the summer.

He said: "That's the question, the midfield, but now it is very difficult to find solutions. The market is closed.

"Keep in mind that the market has not been easy. We have committed ourselves to continue with Forlan, Maxi, Simao, Aguero, important players, but I believe we must recognise that the beginning has been bad, but we have only played four games."
