City also got the added time, not just United. They c*cked up by taking their eye off the ball when Giggs and Owen didn't.
shhh 4-3 united got the 3 points!
Love the ignorance demonstrated here. Great language too.
The point about the extra time is that although the referees have the right to add time for these things they very rarely do. This is where big clubs and home teams get a slight advantage in any sport because if the home side is attacking the referee is more likely to let them complete the attack even though time was up. The real question is when would the referee have blown for full time if City had been attacking at 95mins. I suspect slightly sooner as the crowd would have been jeering and whistling. United scored on their 3rd attempt to deliver a decent ball (which was exceptional).
You cannot accuse United of cheating, they did nothing wrong and just played until the whistle. Very good point by a couple of commenters above about referee not adding a minute after United's goal!! That is life and home team advantage, we will just have to wait another year to embarras them at home.
The 2003 rugby world cup saw real home team advantage demonstrated almost to the point of costing England the world cup.
Let us all move on and hope that the standard of football in the premiership improves as so far this year it feels much lower than in previous seasons.

I'm surprised none of the conspiracy theorists have mentioned the bribes and meticulous schemes that Sir Alex must have machinated a week in advance to ensure that Ade got banned for Sunday's match...
If that is the case, why did he blow the match off immideatly after utd's winner, he should have added another min. for their celebrations.....
If the ref is bias towards man utd, then i believe liverpool and chelsea are reaping the benefits as well. How many times have liverpool scored 90+ mins goals ? I believe its much more then 5 times since rafa came. That is also why they win games, because they push for the winning goal right at the end of the game. Why do people complain only when its man utd scoring 1 goal out of dunno how many times when liverpool scores 90+ mins goals pretty much every other time? And the ref did not call time straight after man utd scored the goal, he allowed 1 last city attack, and i believe it was because the ball was cleared out and a throw in was given thats why the ref blew the final whistle. If this is the case, then am i to say that city did not make use of the chance to go for a last goal and that they should be guilty for it since man utd took their chances from a freekick where god knows who should be marking owen and no 1 did letting him receive a thru pass from giggs and scoring?
hehehe... hey, Neutral Cuntalan, you think you're "better than united"? if you didnt notice...both clubs have 3 champions league cups.... oh and like you say...
