he isn't comparing them to maradona and pele. he's merely stating that deciding who's better out of ronaldo and kaka is as stupid as comparing maradona and pele. both maradona and pele were great players with very different qualities and attributes.

This shows how joining RM clouds your mind and how you lose grip on reality. Both of them may be a good players but their impact on world football is limited and temporary, they are not any better than former great players like Cruyff, Baggio, Romario or Stoichkov etc. Only Messi can become as legendary as Pele and Maradona. You dont care about Barca?! Maybe you should because Barca are the team to beat and the Catalans control their own fate by just playing well, in the long run RM offers only a minor threat to Barca who has already a winning team and not just bunch of egoistic individuals who cant defend
