Barcelona's Keirrison denies snubbing Palmeiras teammates

Barcelona summer signing Keirrison admits he had no idea he was leaving Palmeiras in the summer.

Keirrison was signed and immediately 'parked' on-loan at Benfica for the new season and he revealed: "The truth is everything happened in the middle of the night and I did not know what was going on.

"When the agreement was almost reached, I asked if I could return (on-loan) to Coritiba. I have nothing against Palmeiras."

Keirrison was commenting after being accused by former teammate and Barcelona defender Edmilson of not saying goodbye to the Palmeiras players.
