Man City chairman Al-Mubarak slams Platini: There's no debt here

I think it's time we bought UEFA

"City, hollowed-out and over-borrowed, were brought to him by the Dubai-based businessman, and the D-list celebrity courtesy of his Sir Alan Sugar role in the UAE's version of The Apprentice: Sulaiman al-Fahim. He, and the English dealmaker Amanda Staveley, had been contacted by Thaksin's lieutenant, Pairoj Piempongsant, a City director, desperately seeking a buyer.

The deal was not orchestrated as another marketing front for Abu Dhabi. Mansour bought City privately, with his own money. He saw City as a club rich in tradition – including traditional underachievement – with a large, bloody-mindedly loyal fanbase, and a brand new stadium"

From the Guardian well worth a read for all REAL football fans, not racist Farsenal numpties ManU muppets.

big bad blue

Apart from as you say the Farsenal racistswe also are "blessed" by regular visits from Silly Cecil and "Man Utd" who are BNP creeps.

Alphie not nasty, nasty, nasty but Nazi,Nazi, Nazi.

Its ok for the likes of Real Madrid to spend what they have and rack up MASSIVE debt (remind you of a club not too far from Manchester anyone?) but when City do it without debt, the pal of Europes big clubs, Platini doesn't want to risk his place on the gravy train.

This is envy and jealousy and totally focused on maintaining the status quo. Thats anti competitive and Platini and his sponsors should be taken to the EU Commission.

Envy, malice, hatred.
It's what makes the world go round for some folk.
It's what fuels the likes of Sir Cecil.
Nasty, nasty , nasty!

And to let all of you know our owners are not in it to make a quick buck. You cant do it at teams like city, everton. Tottenham or any other outside of the top 4. You can only do it at your uniteds, liverpools, real madrids, barcelonas, milans etc ie regular champion league teams whos shirt sales alone pay for there players. But if no team speculates it will always be them teams in the echelons and home nation football would just disappear into obscurity. For football to be viable it needs competition from every angle and i hope its not just us trying to compete with the big guns. Lets just hope this happens in other countries too. The more the better

that makes total sense real1 and thats what were aiming for. These guys are not gonna pump money after money into our club to see no return. That cosy top 4 needs breaking and thats what were trying to do. Season tickets have gone up, shirt sales have gone up, merchandise has gone up so has our global appeall. Believe me our owners are crude and not just in it for a buzz. Just watch, in 2 years time read our financial reports.

hmmm yeah we all errm pray! Pray that there nothing like the glazers and hicks of this world. If you can only rely on bitter, jealous, wishfull thinking comments it shows how much you really know! Well while i sleep soundly knowing my clubs in safe hands ill leave you to pull your teeth out lmfao and hey just to let you know im no new giddy on the block United and Liverpool regarding there debt will always survive because there market is huge. Like huge huge, and when the yanks finally sell up and make there profit it will be to some uber rich men and then the transfer market will really get giddy. As they say in football " at the end me the day, its night"

A football club to be viable must be financially stable...Not many people in this page seem to understand the basic concept..... There are however those people who belong to the " Have Not " and will always be at odds to those of " Wealth " no matter what they do.

Bet you ALL the ManShittty fans say a nightly prayer for the health of Al Mubarak and Abu Dhabi because if something happens to one of them, ManShittty will be but just a memory... and Ade$$, Tevez$$, Lescott$$, Kolo$$, Binho$$, Bellamy$$ et all will be rushing out the door.
