Deportivo La Coruna coach Miguel Angel Lotina has jumped to the defence of winger Andres Guardado.
Guardado has been accused of performing better for Mexico than Depor by fans, but Lotina says: "On Sunday (against Malaga) for me he was a ten. He works and has character.
"He is not a Robben, not a striker, but he's a great team player.
"He's not a spectacular player, but has everything that a player must have: character, quality and commitment and creates a good atmosphere in the locker room."
