AC Milan chief Galliani defends Huntelaar

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists former Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will prove value for money.

He said: “Huntelaar missed the first match through suspension, he came on in the second when we were down to 10-men and so Saturday was his first game.

“When a player arrives here judgements are made after 30 seconds. He needs time and a bit of patience.”
