Eduardo will be fine against Wembley boo-boys – Bilic
Croatia coach Slaven Bilic believes striker Eduardo will not be dissuaded by potential boo-boys at Wembley in Wednesday night’s World Cup qualifier.
The Arsenal star was given some harsh treatment against Manchester United at Old Trafford days after he was involved in a controversial penalty against Celtic but Bilic believes the Brazil-born goal scorer is man enough to cop any stick from England fans.
“It happened to him at Old Trafford when he came on a few days after the game against Celtic. We spoke on the phone, and it was all clear. Nothing. It is not a problem,” he said.
“Eduardo is a complete man, a complete person. He's great as a player, great as a person, great as a brother. He's complete. I can say it because I've known him since he was 17. So I know.
“When you know you are right, the things that anyone writes or says about you can't harm you at all. It can only motivate you more.
“He knows that he is 100 per cent, horizontally, vertically, diagonally, honest.
“Of course I've spoken with him. I speak every day. He knows that he did nothing wrong.”
