Roma in new blast at Man Utd over Petrucci swoop

The may be trouble ahead for Man Utd - Unfortunately it is too late for Roma to pipe up now, make a complaint, and hope for sanctions.
However, the case over Paul Pogba from Le Harve could be interesting.. If some of their actions can be proven unethical, against the law, outside of jurisdiction with their behaviour towards Le Harve.. then.. then..
THEY MUST BE PUNISHED WITH SIMILAR FEROCITY IN THE WAY THAT CHELSEA HAVE BEEN..

roma have never cheated, and were the only team of the "big four" not to have been alleged cheaters

you guys are all wrong, the problem with the system is that in italy, france, and spain minors can't be given a professional contract. I know for a fact that in this case, petrucci was earning the highest wages that he was allowed to by law in italy, but when Man united come along and offer him a proffessional contract, jobs for both of his parents, a couple of cars, and an awesome house his parents make the decision for him to go to Man united. Another problem with this petrucci case is that he repeatedly said he didn't want to go, but his parents are poor so they happily said yes. This is the exact same case with what man united did with pique. They got him for no money, then sold him back to barca for 10 million.

And there is a huge difference with Messi, Messi and his parents wanted to leave for barca. Lastly, messi was offered to barca by a team he played for. End of story.... pls try to look up facts before posting non sense

So what he is admitting is it is a fault with their law and until the italians, french and spanish get their antiquated legal systems in order then it will be exploited. i england professional contracts are given from age 16. they get a basic pay and housing allowance plus football and (at Man United at least) further vocational education. In short they look after them whereas in the latin countries it seems to be the usual lazy do nothing and hope for the best mentality and pray the player is still there at age 18. Take Macheda. Lazio knew he had to travel from a village in the countryside from his parent's place. they did not have the time or money to ferry him back and forward to training every day. They appealed to Lazio to help - who promptly did nothing. Man U came in and did the oposite and help the player and the family and Lazio could not do anything as it is within the law. Had they bothered to look after the player and his family then he would probably still be there. Look at Messi. Barca took him at around age 13. they put him on the growth hormone treatment that his family could not afford. they looked after him and his family. this is no different than what chelsea have done so you may as well go and give a transfer ban to all clubs as they are all doing it one way or another.

At the end of the day it is not tapping up it is providing a player with more hope of success.. can anyone say lionel messi.. brought over from argentina at 13! If thats not the biggest case of stealing from a club, considering there is an ocean in the way, i dont know what is.

Who cares? If young players choose to leave their clubs because they aren't good enough that's their problem. With Italy, it's their own fault for not getting 16yr old players nailed down to contracts. Given their biggest sides have been caught match fixing not once, but twice, I don't think they should be having anything to say regarding ethics in the sport. Man Utd legitimately took those players, it was all above board. Teams like Lazio, Milan & Juventus bribing referees on the other hand..

anonymous just talkin shit, where did madrid steal young boys.We are not like man utd dat steal young players. Most of our youth products are from the capital.I hate when people dont know anything abt football and talk shit with their big fat mouth.

funny how the english clubs are taking all the heat but teams like madrid and all blatantly tap up players and get away with it and when an english club spend alot of money they ruin football but when madrid do it nothing said platini and the whole lot of them are hypocritical a-holes

Anybody who thinks that SAF and ManU are worse/bigger crooks/less trustworthy/more greedy than Platini, Blatter, UEFA and FIFA has much to learn.
