Barcelona defender Pique: Real Madrid wanted me

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique admits Real Madrid chased him hard while he was with Manchester United.

"In Madrid there was always an interest in my game, but it was always a non-starter as far as I was concerned," said the Spain international.

"I am fortunate to be playing for Barca, which always have been my team. I feel very happy and I've never regretted returning, nor not joining Madrid or anyother team."
