Man Utd keeper Van der Sar ponders ending Holland exile

Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar hints at ending his international exile.

The former Juventus and Fulham 'keeper is a veteran of four World Cups but it is believed that with South Africa 2010 on the horizon he could be tempted to return and maybe end his career on the biggest stage of all.

"The rehabilitation of my injury is the most important thing right now," he told the Daily Telegraph.

"After that, I will focus on United and then we will see what is happening with the national team."
