Portsmouth striker Nwankwo Kanu is delighted to see Emmanuel Adebayor doing so well at Manchester City.
Kanu, 33, is African football's most successful player, winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, UEFA Cup and Olympic gold.
The Nigerian faces Togo pal Adebayor when City visit Fratton Park tomorrow.
He said: "I am happy for Emmanuel. If he keeps playing well, as I am sure he will, City can win the league."
