Cagliari defender Canini chasing Lazio move

Cagliari defender Michele Canini is keen to make a move to Lazio.

“He did not play against Livorno precisely because of the transfer issues surrounding him,” explained agent Renzo Contratto on lalaziosiamonoi.

“It was a decision made by the club, as Michele is in good shape physically, is calm and ready to be at the team’s service.

“A move is in the hands of the club, but we can say that we very much appreciate the option of Lazio.

“It would mean joining a big club in a major city and above all reuniting with [Coach Davide] Ballardini.”
