Maldini: AC Milan will prove title credentials with derby win

Paolo Maldini says AC Milan will prove their title credentials if they can beat Inter in this weekend's derby.

The retired defender said: "You can believe in Milan.

"If we beat Inter, we can really think about the championship. On Saturday I will be at the San Siro to cheer them on, I've been invited by Leonardo."

Maldini believes Jose Mourinho's Inter is there for the taking.

"Inter has to get used to the new game of Mourinho. But beware of Samuel Eto'o, he is the best centre-forward in the world."
