Obi Mikel backs Chelsea to win opening seven games

John Obi Mikel is convinced Chelsea can win their opening seven Premiership games.

The Blues go into Sunday's clash with Fulham on the back of two victories and also face Burnley, Stoke, Wigan and Tottenham before playing host to Rafael Benitez's Liverpool.

Mikel believes they could build a healthy lead at the top of the table by securing a maximum 21 points from their first seven games.

He said: “That will certainly do for us. If we win all seven it will be a good achievement, although at the moment we are taking each game as it comes.”
