Real Zaragoza are in contact with Newcastle United for fullback Jose Enrique.
El Periódico de Aragón says Zaragoza are turning to Enrique after seeing a move for Sporting Gijon fullback Roberto Canella stall.
Enrique is available at Newcastle for around £3.5 million.
