Man Utd legend Cantona convinced Vignal about Birmingham move

Gregory Vignal has revealed how Manchester United legend Eric Cantona convinced him about a move to Birmingham City.

Birmingham's new left-back, who makes his home debut tonight was persuaded to leave Lens by the Manchester United legend when they met at a bull fight.

Vignal, 28, said: "One of my friends is a matador. I went along and saw Eric there and he told me I should get back to England."
