Dempsey agrees new deal with Fulham

Clint Dempsey has signed a contract extension with Fulham that will see him remain at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2013, reports the club's official website.

Dempsey signed for the Whites in January 2007 and also played a pivotal role in the United States’ recent Confederations Cup success – with goals against Egypt, Spain and Brazil helping guide his side to the runners-up spot.
