Ricardo Carvalho has revealed he is set to remain at Stamford Bridge amidst speculation he was on the way out.
The Portugal international struggled for form last season and rumours were circulating that his time in London had come to an end but he has rubbished those claims by pledging his commitment to his Blues teammates.
"Off course I'm staying, but first of all I have to get fit and better for my team-mates," he told Sky Sports.
"Off course last year was a disaster, it was the worst time I've had in my career. I wasn't happy. After that now I have to look forward, but I have to get fit and to help my team-mates."
