All Australian players should welcome Verbeek standard

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to read my piece.

Bill, I appreciate your comments, but I did mention how Verbeek made a personal call on Eddy Bosnar in Japan. At tribalfootball.com, we've also highlighted the great achievements the three amigos, Wayne Srhoj, Jon McKain and Michael Thwaite in Romania and the recognition they received from the media over there before their return to Australia.

....ah yes, another England-centric article, even while purporting to be the opposite. What about the Australians in Romania, in Greece, in Indonesia, in Portugal, Russia, Malaysia and Singapore - in the lower tiers of a half-dozen other nations in Europe and the same number in parts of Asia. You seem to know a lot about the lower reaches of English football - is that all there really is Chris? While critiquing football snobbery is fine, football ignorance is often the by-product. Suggest you branch outside of England just a touch....

god help us if we get another local coach in after pim leaves with the world cup in his hands .. australians in general dont like being told what to do by foreigners. they are too proud and have an inferioirity complex . when pim came in , i was laughing at his comments and especially the horrified reactions from the local football fraternity. now listen to their silence!

Good article, how, it's called football in Australia now. Get it right.
