Chelsea striker Franco di Santo was given a debut by Blackburn Rovers last night against Hibs.
Rovers dominated proceedings against their Clydesdale Bank Premier League opposition but could not break the deadlock with the game finishing at 0-0.
New signing Di Santo, who has joined on loan from Chelsea, had the best chance of the first half but saw his header brilliantly kept out by Yves Ma-Kalambay.
Jason Roberts, Morten Gamst Pedersen and Christopher Samba all came close in the second half while Hibernian's only real chance was a header wide from Ian Murray.
