Fiorentina to beat Real Madrid for Velez Sarsfield defender Otamendi

Fiorentina are set to beat Real Madrid for Velez Sarsfield defender Nicolas Otamendi.

Velez have confirmed interest from Real in Otamendi in recent weeks, however, it's now emerged club president Fernando Raffaini is in talks with Fiorentina about the young defender.

Indeed, Raffaini is travelling to Florence for talks with Fiorentina about a loan deal up to January for Otamendi.
