Marchena fires contract warning at Valencia

Carlos Marchena has hit out at Valencia management over delays regarding new contract talks.

The Spain defender said: "I was told we were going to find an agreement and I am still waiting. I am still waiting for the club to get out of the turmoil they found themselves in.

"But if the club is not in favour of improving my contract, then it must be the same for everyone. You cannot improve some people's contracts and not others."
