Tottenham boss Redknapp likes Man City's Dunne, expects Distin to stay

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is convinced Sylvain Distin will sign a new deal with Portsmouth.

He said: "(Brede) Hangeland? There's no chance of getting him. Fulham won't sell him. I even tried to sign him for Pompey.

"(Manchester City's Richard) Dunne is a good player and I nearly took him to Portsmouth last year, while Distin's going to sign a new deal at Fratton Park.

"Portsmouth need to keep some players if they can."
