Brisbane Roar suffered a 2-1 pre-season loss to Newcastle Jets at Ballymore on Sunday.
Robbie Kruse was sent off for the Roar for using a hand to stop a goal-bound shot from Sasho Petrovski with the Jets converting the ensuing penalty.
It was Brisbane’s fourth pre-season loss but coach Frank Farina wasn’t too perturbed.
"I thought we played well, created chances, but didn't take them," the Roar coach said.
"Then to concede the penalty and go to 10 men, even after that I thought we did well . . . It would have been nice to win . . . but I'm not overly concerned."
