spanishblue, that doesn't apply to football players because most workers don't have the respect and admiration of thousands (if not millions) of fans at their workplace. a player should grow an attachment to the club and supporters he plays for. would you betray your country if another country paid you to do so? the word "traitor" comes to mind.
